Next Step Academy
Next Step Columbus is a soccer training academy built to meet players exactly where they are and move them forward with purpose. Founded by Nate Erre and Luca Nogueira, our seasonal programs deliver intentional coaching for elementary through high school athletes, developing confidence, technical quality, and game understanding at every phase of a player’s journey. We create a welcoming, high-standard environment where athletes are seen, challenged, and celebrated on the field and through a strong community presence beyond it.

Coach Nate Erre and Luca Nogueira remain committed to being intentional with meeting every player where they are at, and providing a safe environment for them to grow as an athlete and a person.

Each session is based around a specific theme, allowing athletes to improve in all aspects of the game. The indoor environment forces technical development to improve.

Players have absolute freedom to try new things and make mistakes, because that is where growth occurs. We oppose the ideology that players need to fit into a system, this program was created to celebrate the uniqueness of every individual.

Coaches are incredibly supporting and intentional about providing individualized attention to each player. We also place heavy emphasis on social media and celebrating our players.

Each program is at a consistent facility at the same time every week.
